Chayla Handley, MHA Assoc. Operating Officer – Vanderbilt Medical Center Women’s Health Operations Leader Advocate for Continuous Improvement
Chayla Handley is the Associate Operating Officer for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she oversees a vast and complex network of care. Her operational leadership spans 23 ambulatory clinics, 7 surgery centers, and 6 delivering hospitals, supporting over 310,000 visits, 5,200 surgeries, and 9,100 deliveries each year.
With 15 years of progressive experience in academic healthcare systems, Chayla brings deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, process and quality improvement, healthcare analytics, and new business development. Before joining Vanderbilt, she held key operational roles at Duke University Health System and Johns Hopkins Medicine, leading clinical operations in primary care and specialty service lines.
Chayla is passionate about expanding access to women’s healthcare and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across her teams. She is an alumna of Auburn University and the Medical University of South Carolina, holding advanced degrees in healthcare administration.
Outside of work, Chayla serves in leadership roles with the Auburn Alumni Association, Junior League of Nashville, and Women Who Explore, reflecting her dedication to both professional excellence and community engagement.

Camille Hoffman, MD, MSc Professor of Maternal–Fetal Medicine Perinatal Mental Health Advocate Vice Chair of Faculty Wellness
Dr. Camille Hoffman is a Professor of Maternal–Fetal Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, jointly appointed in the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Psychiatry. She also serves as Vice Chair of Faculty Wellness in the Department of OB/GYN, where she is a dedicated leader in advancing clinician wellbeing and comprehensive maternal care.
Dr. Hoffman specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies, obstetric ultrasound, and the treatment of psychiatric conditions during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Her research and clinical work focus on improving maternal mental health as a critical pathway to enhancing the overall wellness of women, children, and families.
A founding board member of the Marcé Society of North America, Dr. Hoffman has also served on the boards of the International Marcé Society and March of Dimes Colorado. She co-authored the ACOG Clinical Practice Guidelines on Screening for and Treating Perinatal Mental Health Conditions (CPGs 4 & 5) published in June 2023—guidelines that are shaping the standard of care in obstetrics nationwide.
Dr. Hoffman earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Miami, and her Maternal–Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She also holds a fellowship in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona.
When not teaching or trailblazing in perinatal health, she enjoys trail running in Colorado’s front range and life with her two children and a menagerie of animals.

Nikki K. Robertson, MHA, B.S., RDMS, RVT Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Health Administration Leader Champion of Innovation in Maternal–Fetal Medicine Nikki brings over a decade of clinical and administrative expertise in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, specializing in Maternal–Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology. As Manager of OB/GYN Ultrasound Services at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics since 2020, Nikki has led transformative initiatives that elevate both patient care and operational excellence.
Her leadership achievements include launching a multi-site sonographer reporting structure, developing a dynamic float system, and co-creating a specialized career ladder. Nikki’s collaborative approach has driven cross-departmental improvements, expanding ultrasound services, optimizing EPIC scheduling templates, and establishing a robust quality assurance framework.
From streamlining patient flow to building productivity assessment tools for clinical teams, Nikki’s work exemplifies innovation in sonography leadership and interdisciplinary care. Those who attend her sessions will benefit from her deep knowledge of program development, team management, and strategic service delivery in complex healthcare environments.

Kristen Sharp, MD, FAGOG Clinical Professor OB/GYN Specialist Founder of the Hope After Loss Clinic Dr. Sharp is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin. A dedicated physician and researcher, Dr. Sharp provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including management of both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, as well as treatment for gynecologic conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding and pelvic pain.
In 2017, she founded the Hope After Loss Clinic, a pioneering program that offers compassionate, specialized care to individuals and families navigating pregnancy loss and subsequent pregnancies. Her care philosophy centers on meeting patients where they are, emotionally and physically, and honoring their individual journeys.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Sharp contributes to ongoing clinical research focused on pregnancy loss through her work with the Wisconsin Stillbirth Service Program. Her holistic, patient-centered approach makes her a respected voice in women’s health, loss care, and perinatal mental wellness.

Kehinde (Kenny) Taiwo, MS, CPPM, COC, CPC Sr. Mgr., Clinical Coding & Health Informatics – ACOG Health IT Strategist Coding Policy Advocate
Kehinde Taiwo serves as the Senior Manager of Clinical Coding and Health Informatics at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), where she leads the development of comprehensive educational programs in medical coding, billing, revenue cycle management, and health information technology. With a deep understanding of regulatory and industry standards, Kehinde ensures that ACOG’s coding content remains current, compliant, and aligned with healthcare technology trends.
A Certified Professional Coder with credentials in outpatient and practice management (CPC, COC, CPPM), Kehinde holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Science in Health Informatics Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Prior to joining ACOG, she held various roles in healthcare organizations, where she championed accurate clinical documentation, compliant coding practices, and reimbursement optimization. Her expertise spans inpatient and outpatient settings, and she has been pivotal in provider education on clinical documentation improvement (CDI).
Kehinde also plays a key role in shaping national health and coding policy. She has contributed to numerous Code Change Applications (CCAs) and serves on ACOG’s Committee on Health Economics and Coding (CHEC). Additionally, she represents ACOG on the AMA AI Specialty Collaborative, helping to guide the integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare coding and practice.
